I LOVE this shampoo and conditioner combo! The smell of the shampoo is amazing. It’s a energizing lemongrass, sure to help wake you up in the morning. It also makes my hair feel super clean without having a dry feeling. The conditioner is extremely moisturizing and makes my hair feel really soft. Another great aspect  about these products are they’re color safe!

Coconut pumpkin body wash: A body conditioning, deep hydrating body wash that smells like the beach? Yes, please! With omega rich Organic Argan Oil, Organic Pumpkin, and cell boosting Argan Stem Cells, you’ll never want to get out of the shower.

First, I have to say I love the humor that is found of Acure products! “Expect to be smelling your arm all day after using this. It just smells that good. People may look at you funny.” The body wash is just as great as the shampoo and conditioner. At first I didn’t know how the pumpkin and coconut would smell, however the fragrance works. The coconut is light and fresh while the pumpkin adds a hint of warm to the smell.

What I got to Review:

I got to review the Journal Trio. 

The package comes in a set of three. Each journal with its own action: tranquility, mindfulness  and contentment. Each contains 40 pages and is made from 100% recycled paper. The coolest part about this trio is each journal has a different type of paper in it,   lined, black, and graph paper.

I know that from my blank tranquility paper I will be using this for my doodle book. Whenever I am stressed, I enjoy doodling to take my mind off things (hence become tranquil).

For my mindfulness book I will be writting down things that make me happy/reasons why I’m blessed.

Any ideas what to write in my contentment journal?  

These journals are the perfect size to fit in a bag/purse and are quite durable.

What I got to review:

Alice in Wonderland Long Sleeve

Follow Alice down the rabbit hole in this t-shirt and have a “mad” tea party. An Out of Print adaptation of classic illustrations by Sir John Tenniel. Things certainly are getting “curiouser and curiouser.”

– Super soft raglan pullover
– Thin, lightweight blend fabric
– Ribbed hem finish
– Distressed print
– Fits true to women’s sizing
– Color: grey

I absolutely LOVE my long sleeve shirt! It fits perfect (true to size). The fabric used is also very comfortable.  I tried the shirt on right when I received the package and didn’t want to take it off. This will be a shirt that I will wear a lot. It’s lightweight so it’s perfect for those Spring days that are a little breezy. 

A detail I found so neat was the tag that came on the shirt. It looked like an old card used to check out books. Just another detail that adds extra charm to the piece Out of Prints products are perfect for a gift for a book lover in your life. It is also a great gift to give to yourself 🙂

The Necklace Saver {Review & Giveaway}

I don’t know if it’s a girl thing but I LOVE jewelry! I have some many fun pieces of jewelry. The only problem I have with this obsession is the fact that my necklaces get tangled. How surprised was I when I found a product that could reduce this dilemma. So what am I talking about anyway…The Necklace Saver!

What I thought of the product:

When I received the Necklace Saver it came in a cute little package. The product was very easy to use and there is no confusion how to apply it to your jewelry. It take just 3 steps! Another great aspect of the Necklace Saver is the fact that it is lightweight (made from organza). This makes it perfect for when you are traveling. 

The only downside to the product is that when you take it out of the packaging it is creased from being folded up. I’m sure this can be steamed out.

 

Some additional aspects of the Necklace Saver that stood out to me were:
– The product lets your jewelry keep its natural shape.
– It comes in 3 different widths and 2 different lengths. This means almost any piece of jewelry will work with it.
– The organza is iridescent, which means it’s easy to distinguish pieces you are looking for.
– The best part….a portion of every sale is donated to orphanages around the world. Two    
  beneficiaries are Terchoonian Home and Diramayr Hayastani Center. I love finding companies that
  care about others! 🙂

Having Fun and Helping Others

I just found this website and I wanted to share. It’s a great and simple way to make a difference. Freerice.com is a cool site that asks you questions in several different topics (you choose). For every question you get right you donate 10 grains of rice to underprivileged areas in the world. If you sign up you can even track your total donated rice. This is a wonderful way to help others and it takes only a few minutes to do. I think this would also to a useful tool and have children use and to learn about helping others who are less fortunate. Check it out for yourself.
